This means that if you aim to sell to a larger audience, creating a multilingual website can give your business more exposure and more odds of conversion.

  1. What audience are you attracting?

Check your analytics, particularly the geographical location and language of your visitors. Where are they located? What language do they speak? If most visitors are in the United States, keep in mind that more than 20% of U.S. residents speak a language other than English in the home. (United States Census Bureau American Community Survey, 2017 ) How many of your visitors are you losing because your website is monolingual?
