CommGap Assists The Road Home in Donation Campaign

December 19th, 2013

12/19/13 SALT LAKE CITY, UT- The Road Home, a Salt Lake homeless shelter, has launched their “Holiday Media-Thon” in an effort to raise funds to continue supporting and sheltering the homeless. Throughout today and tomorrow, ten local radio stations will be broadcasting live from the shelter, encouraging listeners to donate.

As one of the sponsors of this event, CommGap International Language Services is doing its part by supplying multilingual volunteers to take in-bound calls from those throughout the Salt Lake area wanting more information on how to donate. These volunteers will help expand the caller-base and facilitate donations from the multi-cultural population of the valley.

Our President, Lelani Craig, will be interviewed by all ten local stations. She can heard locally on Friday, December 20 at 9 am MST.

Both cash and item donations will be graciously accepted. For more information on how to donate, visit www.theroadhome.org or call in to a participating radio station.
